And The Winner of The insideSTL.com Girls Next Door Contest For May of 2008 Is...

Congratulations to Lauren Fitzgerald, who won the insideSTL.com May 2008 Girl Next Door title at Hooters Friday night.

I would have to dig through the archives---which I have absolutely no intention of doing---to confirm this, but I believe this is the closest competition we've had as far as the small voting gap between the winner and the fourth place finisher.

I'll write it again...and again...it's all about the campaign. Rosie O'Donnell could win this motherfucker if she got enough people to vote for her online and at the event. It doesn't matter how beautiful a girl is, the vote comes down to the campaign, and it's been proven month after month. With all of that being said, the closeness of the vote speaks to how quality the month of May was when it comes to the beauty and personality of the ladies participating.

Thank you to Hooters for helping us put on a good show Friday night. The place was full, and the happy hour-style of this Girl Next Door contest laid the foundation for an enjoyable---and long---evening for everybody that made each pit stop through downtown with us.

From Hooters, we went to Lumiere Place for the VIP Party celebrating the Playboy Poker Tournament... and including a couple of past Playmates, Miss October 2006 Jordan Monroe and Miss June 2006 Stephanie Larimore. Stephanie actually joined us at our final stop on the evening, which was Lush.

Good---and creepy---times were had at Lush until 3 a.m. And, we look forward to returning to Lush on July 11th to crown the June 2008 insideSTL.com Girl Next Door.
