I got into doing whatever it is that I do because I recall, while in the midst of hating life as a busboy at Pietro's, seeing Lou Holtz, then the coach at Notre Dame say, "The goal in life is to find something you love to do and find someone dumb enough to pay you do it."
Ever wanted to write about St. Louis sports, restaurants, or real estate and have some idiot pay you to do it?
Well, I'm your idiot...and here's your opportunity:
With the success of the new STL Cardinals page and The Daily Redbird, we're going to be able to expand the website to now have specific sections for the Rams, Blues, Missouri, Illinois, and Saint Louis U.
We also are interested in starting new sections devoted to St. Louis restaurants and St. Louis real estate.
So, with all of that said, if you're interested in writing for insideSTL.com on any of the above topics, here's your chance to get on board.
The new sections will debut no sooner than late July, and obviously, sections like the Rams, Missouri, and Illinois will appear first as their football camps/seasons get underway in the near future.
The writers for the Missouri and Illinois sections will be required to live in Columbia and Champaign, respectively. And, all of the other sections will require writers living in the St. Louis area.
