The January 2010 insideSTL.com Girl Next Door: Snow Schedule

Congratulations to our first insideSTL.com Girl Next Door winner of 2010, Brittany.

In one of the more surreal GND contests in the 37-month history of the competition,
Brittany won by a monster margin online...and then had the loudest crowd noise at a snow-impacted, light attendance Friday night at The Pepper Lounge.

I'm fascinated by two specific aspects of snow and the Greater Metropolitan Area of St. Louis:

1. TV news outlets treat the arrival of two inches of snow like an alien invasion and have reporters stationed all over the bi-state area to let viewers know that, "Yes, it's snowing here, too." I sometimes wonder if the forecasters intentionally exaggerate the potential accumulation in the same manner I treat my height so as to get more people to their stations and delay the inevitable fade into irrelevance that is local TV news.

2. I'm also baffled how a Midwest city that receives around five to seven snowfalls every Winter shuts down from a dusting or forecasts of one to three inches of snow. But, bars downtown were ghost towns in comparison to their normal turnouts because of the 1/2 inch of slush that was on the ground. Bizarre.

Nonetheless, it would've  taken a monster turnaround in the crowd vote to beat Brittany, who won by a huge margin online. Here's a look at the insideSTL.com January 2010 Girl Next Door results:

The Best Super Bowl Analysis insideSTL.com Can Buy

Sure, some media outlets spend the money to send reporters and talk show hosts down to the Super Bowl, but at insideSTL.com, we spend that money on bringing you Kayden Kross and Joshua. So, we have to rely on other sources for our Super Bowl analysis.

Therefore, I present to you the real time tweets from porn stars as the Super Bowl began to its conclusion. We had tweets ranging from Gina Lynn commenting on the "Opening Ceremonies of The Super Bowl" (what the fuck are those?) to Ft. Wayne, Indiana native Bree Olson live from Miami...and not too happy about the way things went down. Take a gander:
