Tim McKernan - President / Co-Founder

President and Co-Founder of insideSTL.com, but also a co-host of The Morning After,  one of the most listened to local sports talk show in the prominent position of morning drive. McKernan hosts The Morning After along with Doug Vaughn of KMOV-TV and Jimmy “The Cat” Hayes of Fox Sports Midwest.

The combination of humor and regular high-profile St. Louis athletes and personalities who join the show have made it a fixture on the St. Louis radio landscape.

Born in South St. Louis, Tim attended St. Gabriel’s Grade School and St. Louis University High School before landing at The University of  Missouri-Columbia Journalism School

Jimmy "The Cat" Hayes: Co-host of The Morning After

When he's not co-hosting The Morning After with Tim McKernan and Doug Vaughn, Jim Hayes can be seen on FOX Sports Midwest, where covers the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues for the network's pregame and postgame shows and live game coverage.

Hayes came to FOX Sports in 2000 as a reporter for the Midwest Sports Report and began covering St. Louis-area sports in 2001. Hayes is a 1984 graduate of the State University College at Geneseo, N.Y.

He was a 2012 Mid-America Emmy winner and has been nominated for several regional Cable Ace and Emmy awards.

Doug Vaughn: Co-host of The Morning After

Doug Vaughn joined Tim McKernan and Jim Hayes as co-host of The Morning After in 2007 (to replace the now-defunct Morning Grind) and has fit in nicely every since.

Doug, a Kirkwood native, has worked as sports anchor and reporter at KMOV-TV since 1988.  Before KMOV, Doug gained broadcasting experience as an anchor/reporter for WSVN-TV in Miami, Fla., and as Sports Director for KTTC-TV in Rochester, Minn.

Doug played baseball for two years at St. Louis Community College at Meramec before transferring to the University of Missouri-Columbia during his junior year.  He is a graduate of  the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.

Bio: Born in Indiana, raised in Chicago, spent most of my life on the Illinois side of St. Louis.  Attended Western Illinois University and graduated in 2007.  First job in radio was small market gigs in West Central Illinois, calling high school football games that were played in corn fields, and doing news/talk/sports morning shows, leading in to an 86 year old man who played records.  Now going on 4 years of doing the St. Louis sports scene, holding down the 6-8p slot.

Favorite TV Show(s): O, where to begin... I love TV.  Big fan of most sitcoms, Sons of Anarchy, White Collar, America's Got Talent, WWE Raw, some cooking shows, reruns on TBS, and sports.

Pat Imig - Co-Host, The Afternoon Drive & People's Blog Columnist

Where did you go to high school?: CBC

Bio: Born in Manchester. After graduating from CBC, I made my way to Mizzou to study journalism. The one thing it has taught me is that TV reporting sucks. On another note, if you happen to be in Columbia over the next couple of months, give Papa John’s a call and I may just deliver your pizza (of course, I’m not joking).

Was able to join the sports empire known as joesportsfan.com a little over a year ago, after bribing Josh with an autographed Lee Tunnel rookie card. Since then, I have spent most of my time documenting the circus that is ESPN. While I find it highly entertaining, I’m pretty sure it isn’t normal.

Favorite TV Show(s): Family Guy. Forensic Files is solid too

Favorite STL Personality:
Can’t go wrong with Joe Buck or Bob Costas. Also a fan of Bryan Burwell.

Music, people, dogs, barbecuing, Sean Salisbury

Where did you go to high school?: Jennings High School (Jennings, MO) and Ft. Zumwalt South High School (St. Peters, MO)

I loved growing up in Jennings but, unfortunately, I became another victim of "White Flight" in 1996, when my parents uprooted the family for the (supposedly) greener pastures of St. Peters.  I finished high school at Zumwalt, then went on to Lindenwood University to get my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education.  While in college, I met my future wife, Jessica (who's WAY out of my league), and we were married in 2003.  We moved to Florissant that same year, and we currently live there with our 4 dogs (Comet, Krypto, Ace, & Batman).
Favorite TV Show(s):  Seinfeld, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother

Favorite STL personality:
