Announcing The CBS Sports 920 And insideSTL.com Holiday Party
You, the fine readers of insideSTL.com and listeners of CBS Sports 920, are cordially invited to our CBS Sports 920 Holiday Party presented by 360 Vodka and Triple Crown Whiskey a week from Thursday (December 5th to be exact) at Llywelyn’s Pub in Soulard.
It’s going to be a pony show.
While it will be enjoyable to have some beverages with the listeners and readers of the site, and while all of us at CBS Sports 920 and insideSTL.com are looking forward to meeting the three or four of you who listen, this party will kick off our first ever toy drive benefitting Friends of Kids With Cancer. Bring in a new, unwrapped toy…and your good deed will be rewarded with a raffle ticket.
And, we’ll be raffling off some ridiculous prizes for free. The prizes include great Blues’ tickets, a Miller/Coors prize package, and a 46” flatscreen TV.
The Drive Home Presented by GFI Digital will be broadcasting live from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and then the festivities will get underway.
We won’t have Santa Claus, but we will have Larry St. Nickel, and he is---seriously---being fitted for a Santa Claus outfit this week. So, that should be lovely.
The first 50 people to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation will receive their very own Doug Vaughn Suspension Shirt and a special gift from Triple Crown Whiskey and 360 Vodka.
I’m intrigued by the booze, but the feedback I’m getting on these Suspension shirts is rather startling…and uncomfortable. But, apparently there’s a black market for these Doug Vaughn Suspension shirts. They may be more valuable than the 46” flatscreen TV.
Llywelyn’s will be running drink specials all night for listeners of CBS Sports 920 and visitors of insideSTL.com. And, if you’re going to the Blues’ game that night, stop by and take the shuttle to and from Scottrade Center.
Meet St. Nickel and celebrate the holiday season with the hosts and staffs of CBS Sports 920 and insideSTL.com at Llywelyn’s Pub Soulard a week from this Thursday.
