Week Nine of Football Picks Presented by HotShots
Producer Joe and I both struggled last week going 3-4, but we're starting to see a trend...one positive...one negative. @ProdJoe continues to flop around on Locks of The Week. He's now 3-5 with his Locks, while I continue to treat Locks of The Week like a hole, and I pwn in. After another Lock victory last week, I'm at 6-2. Overall, we're both above .500 through eight weeks, but @ProdJoe has a two-game lead:
Producer Joe: Overall-29-22/ Locks of The Week-3-5
Me: Overall-27-24/ Locks of The Week-6-2
cabowabo took down the HotShots' $10 gift certificate from last week by going 6-1. No one else had that good of a mark, especially with Michigan State not just covering over Wisconsin...but winning...and the Packers winning...but not covering...last week at the Vikings'.
Time to bring heat again...and watch me pwn The Lock of The Week:
Missouri at Texas A & M (-10)
Producer Joe: Yep, not gonna happen this week again for the Fightin' Tigers. But the beauty is this game will continued to be played for years to come in the SEC. A&M rolls and Mizzou will still be battling to get to a bowl game this season.
Pick: Texas A & M (-10)
Me: Pick: Missouri (+10)

Georgia (-3) vs. Florida (In Jacksonville)
Producer Joe: Cocktail Party should have a different ending this season as Georgia continues their march to the Georgia Dome to get smacked down by the winner of the SEC West. This should be win #6 in a row for the Dawgs and I still don't think they are very good, but one thing is for sure....at this point in 2011 they are better than the jean short wearing dirtballs from Gainsville.
Pick: Georgia (-3)
Me: Pick: Georgia (-3)
Wisconsin (-7) at Ohio State
Producer Joe: Tough loss last week for the Badgers but they make up for it this week. They should still win the B1G this season and will get their rematch against Sparty. This week they slap around the cheating bitches from Columbus.
Pick: Wisconsin (-7)
Me: Pick: Wisconsin (-7)
Saints at Rams (-14)
Producer Joe: Their still isn't a line that gets me to pick a team that hasn't won or covered all season long. Follow me here....I would love for the Rams to have the first overall pick next April. I would love for Devaney to still be the General Manager of this team at that point. I would love to watch how he could possibly ruin that situation as well....now I know all of those things are a stretch to happen, but I do know that the Rams are the worst team in the NFL. They are worse than the Dolphins, they are worse than the Colts....They are the worst team in the league. Spags will be 8-31 after this Sunday.
Pick: Saints (-14)
Me: Pick: Saints (-14)
Patriots (-3) at Steelers
Producer Joe: Too much offense from the Pats will be the difference in this one. They will cruise all the way to the playoffs this year but once again I don't think they are built to succeed in January. Enjoy the Brady Show while you can.
Pick: Patriots (-3)
Me: Pick: Steelers (-3)
Lions (-3) at Broncos

Producer Joe: Had to find a way to include something about Jesus in our picks this week. He loses this week at home.
Pick: Lions (-3)
Me: Pick: Lions (-3)
Locks of The Week
Producer Joe: Chargers (-4) at Chiefs: I think I am doing pretty well with picks overall. I am miserable at Locks of the Week. Proceed with caution.
Pick: Chargers (-4)
Me: Oklahoma (-13.5) at Kansas State: I can't believe this spread. It's so overwhelming that I'm hesitant to touch it, but it's too good to pass up. I thought about Clemson at Georgia Tech, but the reason I love Kansas State here is that I think they might just be as good---if not better---than Oklahoma. So, to get 13.5 points at home? Man, got to take it.
Pick: Kansas State (+13.5)
