And The 2012 insideSTL Girl Next Door of The Year Is...
Not much more you could ask for at 360 Vodka's Presentation of The insideSTL Girl Next Door of The Year.
12 lovely St. Louis Area ladies.
A packed crowd.
And, the World Series MVP all in attendance.
But, when it was all said and done, it was a beautiful girl from Imperial, Missouri who grabbed the spotlight and took home the biggest cash prize of the evening.
Congratulations to Sarah, who won $1,500 and the title of insideSTL Girl Next Door of The Year Friday night at The Pepper Lounge.
Sarah won all three phases of The 2012 GND of The Year Contest. She received the highest crowd noise last week at Lumiere Place, the most ballot votes last night at The Pepper Lounge, and a record-breaking total of online votes throughout the week on insideSTL.com.
For the first time in the five-year history of the contest, we split up the $2,500 so as to give the second and third place finishers some cash. And, Stephanie ran away with second place for $750. But, the third place prize of $250 came down to a crowd noise tiebreaker with Ali, Rachelle, and Venus all finishing with 26 points. We went to the crowd for the final verdict, and Venus won it to take hom the $250.
Before giving the final points breakdown, I want to say for the two or three of you who care, that these ladies were not only quite attractive, but they were incredibly pleasant for us to work with during a contest that has and can feature plenty of behind-the-scenes drama. Usually I feel like I just went 12 rounds after Girl Next Door of The Year Week, but because of the outstanding work of the insideSTL staff and the fact that this year's group was so easy to work with, it was a damn good time and one of the best groups of girls we've been lucky enough to have.
