Bodog has Dennis Phillips as a 3 to 1 favorite to win the WSOP. Is anyone going to put some money on our shark from STL?

It will be a tough table as quite a few of those guys have good records, just not known reputations.

Is anyone going to put some money on our shark from STL?Wouldn't put money down on those odds on ANYONE at the final table unless they had an enormous (Jamie Gold-like) chip lead, and probably not even then. Just ask John D'Agostino from a couple years back at the US Poker Championship. Massive chip lead, started taking some hits and ended up out in 6th or something (was seriously on tilt).

agreed- it happened last year too w/ Phillip Hilm, I believe. He came in w/ almost 2x as much as 2nd place, but just started making some poor plays/reads, and the next thing you know he's the 5th place finisher.

The reason I wouldn't bet on anyone is because they all will play a different game by the time the final table starts versus the kind of player they were making it to the final table.
