I am heading to San Francisco for a wedding and then we are going to stay in Monterey for a few days after. I am looking for suggestions of where to play out there. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. I am considering Harding Park since it is kinda cheap and the Pres. Cup is there this year. But I have read some reviews that say it is only decent. My wife will let me buck up the $500 to play Pebble, but I am thinking of maybe Spyglass since it is cheaper at $330.
If anyone knows of any hidden gems that are cheaper please let me know.

Thanks for the help. I just watched some Travel clown on the golf channel rate Pastiempo #1, Spyglass #2, and Pebble #3. And Pastiempo is the cheapest by far, so maybe I will do that.
Jay or anyone, have you played Pastiempo?

Yes I have played Pasatiempo and really liked it. As I remember it was a pretty good and fair value as far as the dollars go. Tight course with fantastic elevation changes.

I've never played Pasatiempo, but it's high on my wish list. Originally designed by Alistair Mackenzie. Renovated not too long ago.

Check out the photos. Looks like it would be a chance to see an historic design.
