your power go out last night?
ours did at like Midnight and when I called to report, they said it was city wide.
wtf?
came back on about 4am.
fried my power supply on my desktop.

i was right in the middle of Curb Your Enthusiasm and the tv shuts off. I was like wtf?

We had a surge around that same time. But it only went out for a second or two. It was out long enough that I had to reset all of the digital clocks.

Some of our clocks were fucked up this morning. Some weren't.
It would've sucked if I would've slept all the way until 11 a.m. before realizing it. *

That probably caused the initial power flicker. And then he went inside and Wii boxed her into submission. That was enough to shut down the whole power grid.
