Although the game is still early, this is why just "making" the playoffs isn't good enough. The Blues are not in the same league as the top four seeds. Next year they might be, but not this year. Here is to hoping I am proven wrong in the second half of the game.

I believe if they play like they have the last month and a half, they can beat anyone. I just can't see Mason playing like he has been for that long of a time. Still fun to watch.

It might only be 2-0 instead of 4-0. Trade our second leading scorer and one of the best nhl prospects for a strong defenseman on a team that can't score goals.

I'm glad the Blues are getting their ass beaten. Maybe that will make JD think a little more before he makes a stupid move tomorrow. This team doesn't need Pronger. They need goal scorers.

I used to hate the Red Wings big time, but this year I have been very impressed with them. Everything you just said makes them the team they are. They couldn't execute a game plan better then they do night in night out.

I think the injury in the first period took a lot of the wind out of their sails. They were skating well and intense until that happened. After that it seemed to slow them down a step.

He is Burwells bitch. I can't believe how much he sucks his cock on the show. I can see him at Old Navy, he would fit in.
My problem with Murray is he lets the opponent dictate the tempo of the game instead of vice versa. In close games, he plays not to lose instead of playing to win.

Oh. He was just on the post game explaining their game plan to pummel Osgood with shots and pucks as he has been kind of weak lately. He said something to the effect that he doesn't know why they wouldn't shoot it.
He always seems prepared with a plan, but I do understand your over conservative comment.

Like I said earlier, this is one game I will have his back and say his team laid down on him. But then comes in the question, Why didn't they execute his game-plan? Was it they were tired, not motivated enough, or just flat out didn't give a shit?

I don't know. As I said earlier i think that injury changed everything. Osgood looked shaky early on and I think the Blues were shooting. That injury took the energy out of the building.

Just got back from the game. What a gigantic piece of shit. On top of it, some fucking assclown called me a "bald headed prick" because I kindly requested that he and his three hoosier counterparts "get the fuck out the middle of the road" as we left the game. (I am both "bald headed" and a "prick"...neither was taken as an insult.)
Secondary observation...I am not a blue-collar dude...but for the love of God please give the lower bowl back to the blue collar cats. I love sitting close to the action but I do not enjoy sitting next to literally hundreds of assholes who act like they are sitting in their living room. The blue collar dudes get into the game. Don't force their asses to sit upstairs. Bring them down to mix things up a bit.

Mike in South City will not appreciate you comparing the Blues to the Cards and Rams. Shame on you, you'll feel his wrath. The Blues walk on water, and do no wrong...don't you know that?
