Anyone played Bad Company yet... heard it's COD w/ vehicles and destructible maps..

Yes. It's like a mixture between COD4 and Halo3. Not quite as realistic as COD4, but the gameplay is more fun because you can blow up walls, houses, fences, etc. to expose enemies taking cover and you can drive vehicles like Halo 3. The only thing that sucks is that there is only one online "mode" of play right now which is where you are either an attacker or a defender and you must destroy or protect these gold crates. It is pretty fun though, I haven't even played the regular game yet, just the online shit.

So I was playing last night and these kids invited me to play on their team. I don't know how old they were but they sounded young. Anyway, these kids were getting all the kills the whole game. I could only get assists. I look at the leaderboards one kid had a 1.95 kill/death ratio and another had like 1.7 ratio. Damn. I'm struggling to keep my 1.0 ratio.

i was trying to work on mine, but I share my username with my kid and it seems taht I just keep turning my wheels......

we both sucked for so long i am about 3000 away from getting it 1 to 1.

I will go on a run and get it down to 2500 and then not play it for a couple of days and the kid has it back to 3000 again.

I have heard some guys talking about bugs in the game.

I know that on certain levels people can get to spots too quickly. The one sniper level is a good example. I have had situations where I spawn start to run out to B and I get past the initial wall by A or C and get shot the second I walk out by a guy already up on the second level and sitting there waiting.

I had a kid the other day on shipment where at the beginning of the game we all spawned and the countdown hit 1 and screen went color and we were getting shot right away......one of the guys was already on us and the game just started, people were freaking out wondering how it happened, and that player wouldn't tell us how he did it after the game was over.

I think most of this is from the spawn positions. Especially on Shipment, when you have 12 guys and I think only 8 spawn points on that map there is some overlaping of players. Best thing to do on shipment is when you spawn for the first time start knifing. You'll kill him before he kills you if there is a player on you.

i know, but it just seems a little odd on a level like bloc for that to happen.

the kid on shipment was being very coy about how he got over to us so fast when we asked. He could have just said, that is where I spawned.

It's happened to me before too. I think sometimes it glitches if one of your team-mates is directly behind the person you are trying to kill.

Yes, and the replay showed what i thought. The guy appeared to be a teammate then turned red and shot me. maybe just a glitch but it happened more than once.

Here is the e-mail I'm sending to PS3 tech support. Can you guys think of any other questions you want me to ask them?

I use alot of my time playing Call of Duty 4 online. When playing in a game online, your team-mate usually has his screen name in green above his head. The enemies usually have nothing above they're head and your cross hairs turn red when you point on them. Well several of my clan members and I have noticed that sometime when we are playing the enemy has a green name above his head. Which results in us getting killed. It's very frustrating.

Question: Is it possible for people to use cheat codes online?

I like the idea of the Bare Bones Team Deathmatch. The one thing I liked more about Rainbox Six was that it was less run and gun, and a little more strategy.

DM is all about having a bigger epeen. The goal and team matches are the most fun to me too and I tend to worry less about my kill/death ratio and worry more about winning. Oddly enough those are the times my kill/death ratio is at its best.

yep I cracked 85 the other day on shipment doing this......

I got a 63 kill game at overgrown the other night doing the same thing.....i was playing with a bunch of dumb asses that must not have known the maps well.

We held c and a and I just bounced back and forth between them and killed anyone that decided to rush either, I watched 3 guys rush c and threw a grenade just as the 4th came up and killed them all.......I had 3 helis that game....it was pretty sweet. I think i only died like 5 times.

i have gotten a little better lately.......

When I was on a team where I wasn't the only one going for flags and shit I don't think i have had a game where i was less than 2-1 ratio and most of the time 3-1 ratio.

i stopped doing all the different guns to try and get my ratio to 1-1 so I am just using the class that i am good with.

My son is grounded from video games for the near future because of grades so I get a chance to eat into that 4000 death hole that he/I put us in.

Did you play last night? I played around 10:30 or so for a short time but it seemed like i was in delay or something. My signal strength looked okay, but it seemed like everything was step ahead of me. I had a game that I got 9 kills and died 30 times. I can't think of the last time I played even close to that bad.

I can't think of any other "types" of games I like to see, but I'd like bigger maps with more emphasis on strategy and teamwork than just running around shooting as fast as you can before you die. The Rainbox Six games seemed to offer more strategy..less run and gun. Also, you couldn't fire every gun through wall and shit to kill them, you could actually hide behind stuff and have a "stand off" of sorts with people.

Also, you couldn't fire every gun through wall and shit to kill them, you could actually hide behind stuff and have a "stand off" of sorts with people.

That'd be cool and all but I wouldn't want to have to rely on some schmuck on my team to get the job done.

Didn't download this, but I did download the Tom Clancy: Endwar Demo. It is pretty cool, kinda like Command & Conquer.

Make sure you play it alone though. I felt like the biggest fag in the world sitting in front of my tv saying "Alpha Team, attack target. Beta team: camera. Delta Team, Garrison Objective."

Yeah from what I've heard it's the same as cod4, but back in WWII times. Online play is the same. Not sure I want to spend $60 for new maps, weapons and shit, but I'm bored with the look of cod4.

PS3 or 360? It is an awesome game, you won't be disappointed. I never even played the actual game, the online shit was so addicting. Flying the helicopter is a bitch.

I just rented World At War this weekend. It's pretty awesome, but is it worth buying? How long did it take to get through?

I never played any of the COD games and would like to start with the first one. Can you play all of the original COD games on Xbox360?

Buy it for the online play, not the game itself. None of them are worth buying if you don't play them online.

I'm just saying that the campaigns alone make the game worth the buy, IMO. They are very well done. In MW2 there were some decent non-online challenges, as well.
