I suggest somewhere they serve alcohol and lots of it, so you can black out and imagine you are somewhere besides the Rams game

Soulard Coffee Garden has got some pretty good food and close to downtown. uggh, this is wrong. Sorry Lief. Hammerstones has good drinks, but the buffett on rams games isnt the best, but it is cheap. I would try the restaurant connected to 1860's on 9th & geyer. You can get shitfaced, get a ride to the game and the food is the bomb diggity.

There's no reason you can't do both. A few times I've done breakfast at Soulard Coffee Garden then migrated to 1860 or Hammerstones for a few drinks and a ride to the game.

Sure, you can do that obviously...I am speaking blindly of the coffee garden though, they dont serve drinks so I dont venture over there.

there is a place right at 6th and Lucas about 500 feet from the dome. Not sure of the name. Was decent the one time I ate there before a game. And, they had alchohol...and good bloody marys.

Not really aplace you would go to have drinks, but if you want some good food in the morning and are needing a little hair of the dog it is a good call.

I'm just looking for some place to get my grub on and lay a food foundation down before I start drinking. Hammerstones is fine for drinking but I'm done with them for eating. Their food quality and quantity for the price sucks.

Then again in the last two or three years I've eased back on the drinking before/during/after Rams games. The thrill of being plowed at 11am on a Sunday morning isn't quite what it used to be.

It sucks getting old.

Interesting.

Yeah, I haven't had the brunch, but I did have a Salmon BLT there, and it was decent.

It sucks getting old. for quality and quantity of a buffett in soulard I always do the geyer house next to 1860's. That shit is real good, and they always have a good selection. Plus cheap bloody marys.

just sayin

sorry about the job shit blaze! I am trying to turn the economy around on my own, but it is hard work.

Looking for Breakfast try Lumière, The M.A.C. (if you can get in), or the Renaissance.

All we serve you alcohol too.
