Although Detroit won, it's not over. The Blues still have 3 games with Nashville, starting tonight. It will be tough, but it's not over yet.

The chicken was served at room temperature. Not as unsatisfying as the product on the ice though.

For a team with a bunch of great young players that was just a year or two away last year...these guys suck.
The Blues sucked tonight. Tonight's observations.....
1. Brewer and Jackman need to go.
2. This team needs a bona fide goal scorer.

I'm starting to question whether Davidson has been one helluva used car salesman the past few years in regards to the young kids. There's no doubt that Oshie, Perron, and Berglund have talent, but they aren't anywhere close to what the Hawks have.

Agreed. I used to be a huge Jackman supporter, but that guy sucks. For a guy who has been in the league 8 years, he plays like he's been there 8 minutes. No look passes in his own end towards the center of the ice. Guys skating circles around him. I'm realizing now that Pronger and MacInnis just overshadowed how mediocre he really is.

They then decided to play the last 6 fucking minutes of the game in their own end and they finally got to Mason. It all started when Brewer couldn't take a fucking puck in his own zone with no one around. They skated behind the goal and ended up getting an icing. Brewer gets that puck that 99% of us on here could get, then they get a change and get out of their own zone. I honestly have never heard Scott Trade Center so quiet after the 2nd goal in 1 minute. Game over. See you next year. No wonder I jumped on the Blues bandwagon. Its just like being a fucking Cubs fan.

They need to honestly start over. Walt is done. Jackman sucks. Brewer sucks. Boyes sucks. I could continue.
Build around EJ, Backes, Oshie, Perron, Pietro, Bergie, and Steen. McDonald has a few good years left in him. Besides that I don't care what they do with everyone else. Winchester and Crombeen won't be back next year either. I just think they need to go a different direction.

What can I say? I bought into it and the Blues had just come off the playoff debacle so I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. The reality of it is the team is a mess and needs someone with some balls to lead the charge.
