The system I use for my work is down today, so all I'm doing is taking down names and numbers when people call in. I've received 2 calls in the past hour and a half. This is going to make for a very long day.

ummm...you can organize your pencils by length? maybe count ceiling tiles, or even clean around the numbers on your phone with a qtip. I can think of a million OCD things to do to help your day go by faster.

Have you tried calling your old advisor from college and seeing if he's heard of any openings. Sometimes people call the colleges to get new hires right out of school...
