does he know how much i love him?
does he know without a doubt?
does he know what i gave up for him?
or all i've done without?

does he know what my life might have been?
if he had not came along
does he know of all my shame and sin?
does he know my sad sad song?

does he know how much he changed my life?
and what it was before
does he know my pain..my guilt..my strife?
has he seen me pace the floor?

does he know the worries that he brings?
and the heartaches that he caused?
does he know my thoughts and how they sting?
and how much sleep i've lost

does he know i might have been a star?
or someone really famous
does he know my dreams are in a jar?
and my hopes have turned to dust

does he know how much he means to me?
and how he is my life
does he know exactly what i see?
when i look into his eyes

does he know how much it hurts me?
when he falls and bumps his head
does he know how much i want to be?
in his place instead

does he know how it will hurt me?
when i have to let him go
does he know how he will always be
my son and i'll love him so?

does he know i'd do it all again?
and go back down this route
does he know how much i love him?
does he know without a doubt?

As a parent with grown children you never quit wanting to trade places with them when things aren't going their way. The falls and bumps are usually more emotional than physical and I worry just as much now as I did when they were little.

Outstanding.

I must be on my period because that messed me up for a while.
