I lost with 173 players left.
I had 11K chips..down from 18K when I lost on a full house this time a guy went all in with 40K chips..I had pocket aces... so I called thinking i would double up...and be set to make the money. well...he had pocket jacks and then got a jack on the flop..thats all she wrote. so I finished 173 out of 1000 one thing...those tournaments are to long....good lord...I woulld of been there for 10 hours to finish that |

If you want a tournament with a structure where you can get good practice playing all stages of MTTs, without having to play for hours and hours, and actually have a chance to win, try the $4 180s. They go off about every 10 minutes and first place pays $216. I'm a beginner, and dump a lot of money into huge MTTs because I love tournament poker (often a waste of money since the fields are so huge) but have kept my small bankroll afloat by winning a couple of these.
