Seriously. Just because it's 8ft tall doesn't mean someone won't jump it.

Also, I've seen on those shows that have former burglers break into people houses that they actually prefer tall privacy fences. It hides them snooping around the house from your neighbors.

Arob better brush up on his HI skills or you'll have to start hooking again to pay out contractors. Or maybe you could just hook for them while at the house to keep transportation costs down. Owning a home is tough business.

I guess I meant it could take years to check everything off that particular list.

Everybody has a wishlist, but yes, it takes years to get all that shit done. I'd say, prioritize and pick one big project a year.

Also Cheezdik, Pick one of your items off the list and get it done..Do one thing at a time, its way to intimidating to try and deal wth the whole list at once..Baby steps..

Also, give me a shout on any of those items you want to sub out..
If you have to do an entire fence, I would suggest this. If it were only a few post holes, the post hole digger isn't that bad. Once the holes are dug, you just have someone hold the post upright while you pour quickcrete and then water in the hole. It sets really fast. I put my own posts in, put three braces on each section, and then put the fencing on with wood screws. It wasn't that hard.

Yeah, I was really just looking for advice on the projects themselves. This thread isn't really working out how I planned.

I think the problem is that they are all pretty big projects.

It was kind of doomed from the beginning.

I mean, someone's gonna give you tips on pouring a driveway here and you're actually gonna follow their instructions? I imagine Arob out there, sweating as the concrete truck is just unloading the concrete and him screaming "WHAT NEXT!!!???...WHAT NEXT!!!?", and you holding the laptop and saying "Okay, now Cards_252 says that you should blah blah blah!!"
